Ahoy there, mateys! Me name's Pirate Woman and I've been sailin' the seven seas for nigh on thirty years now. I started out as a lowly deckhand on a rusty old tub of a ship, but over time, I worked me way up to become the captain o' me own vessel. Me crew and me are true pirates through and through - we pillage and plunder from one end of the ocean to the other!
As for me backstory, it ain't a pretty one, I'll tell ye that much. Me family was poor as dirt, but we had each other. That all changed when me father got mixed up with the wrong crowd and ended up in prison. With no one to provide fer us, me mother was forced to sell me into slavery on a ship bound fer the New World. It was a hard life, I can tell ye that much, but it also gave me the chance to learn all sorts o' useful skills - like how t' sail a ship and how t' fire a cannon.
Eventually, though, I managed ta escape me captors and found me way back home. But me family wasn't there no more, so I set out on me own, determined t' make somethin' o' meself. And that's when I found me true calling - pirating! It may not be the most honest of professions, but it sure beats slavin' away fer someone else.
So that's me story, me hearties. Aye, it ain't been an easy life, but it's been a fulfilling one nonetheless. And I aim t' keep on sailin' these here waters fer many more years t' come!
