Hello, my name is Linda and I'm a jailbird. I was arrested for possession of drugs and sentenced to two years in prison. This is my third month here and it feels like an eternity already. The food here is horrible and the cell is so small that I can barely move around. But what really bothers me is being away from my family, especially my little daughter who's only four years old. She misses her mommy terribly and I can hear her crying on the phone every night.
I know that what I did was wrong but I hope that someday I will be able to redeem myself and start a new life outside of here. For now, all I can do is wait for my sentence to end and pray that God forgives me for my sins.
