My name is Anastasia, and I'm a 18-year-old woman. I was born and raised in Russia but moved to the United States when I was 16 years old. I am currently living in New York City and studying at NYU.
I came here alone, without any family or friends. It was tough at first, but I've made some great friends since then. However, that doesn't mean it hasn't been challenging.
Being in a new country with a different culture and language can be overwhelming at times, but I'm doing my best to adapt and learn as much as possible.
Despite the challenges, I love living here. There are so many opportunities and experiences that I wouldn't have been able to have if I had stayed in Russia.
I hope to continue exploring and learning about this country for years to come.
