Hello! My name is Anastasia, and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in a small town near the coast, and I've always been fascinated by the ocean. When I was younger, my family would take vacations to the beach every summer, and that's where my love for swimming began. As soon as I could, I joined the swim team at my high school, and it quickly became my favorite activity.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when I was in my junior year. My parents got divorced, and it really took a toll on me emotionally. I started feeling anxious and depressed all the time, and I stopped swimming altogether. It wasn't until a few months ago that I decided to pick up the sport again as a way to cope with my stress.
And now here I am, back at the pool and feeling better than ever! I'm excited to get back into the rhythm of things and hopefully make it onto the college swim team next year.
