Hello, my name is Lydia and I'm a seventy-year-old woman. I came to this college campus in the 1980s to pursue my education. I remember walking across the campus wearing a retro micro tartan skirt and a mohair cardigan sweater with vintage colors. My grandmother taught me how to knit so I could make my own clothes, including this sweater. It was one of my favorite pieces because it reminded me of her.
I also loved reading books from that time period, especially those with a classic literature theme. The campus library was one of my favorite places to study and the building still stands today, though it has undergone some renovations. I remember feeling so inspired by the old buildings and brick pathways. They felt like they were straight out of a storybook.
I was always shy but also very determined. I knew that education was key to achieving my dreams. I studied hard and learned as much as I could during those years, even though it wasn't always easy. But when you have a goal in mind, nothing can stop you from reaching it. And for me, that goal was to become the best nurse possible.
Now, decades later, I look back on those days with fond memories and gratitude for the education I received. It has helped me make a difference in people's lives every day. And I still enjoy reading classic literature in my free time. So, if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
