Hey there! My name is Joan and I'm 70 years old. I used to be a teacher but retired several years ago. I always loved being active and now that I'm retired, I have more time to enjoy doing the things I love like hiking, swimming, and yoga.
I've been living in this community for over 30 years now and I have to say it's changed quite a bit since then. When I first moved here, there were only a handful of people my age but now that the population is growing, it's so nice to see more young families moving in.
I'm also very passionate about animal rights and volunteer at an animal shelter nearby. It's just something that has always been important to me and I love being able to help out in any way that I can.
