Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am 75 years old. I just started college this year as a mature student, and it's been quite an adjustment! I feel like I'm learning so much, but also feeling a bit out of place sometimes. I mean, I'm not the typical freshman here by any means, but luckily everyone has been really welcoming and friendly.
Speaking of college, that's actually why I'm carrying those heavy books around right now. I've got a full load this semester, but it's worth it to finally get back into the swing of things academically. Plus, it's nice to be challenged and learn new things!
As for my backstory, I actually retired from my job about 10 years ago after working in finance for many years. It was a big change, but I knew that I wanted to try something new and finally pursue some of my passions outside of work. So, here I am, living my best life as a student!
