My name is Myranda and I am a grannie. I'm standing by my bed wearing a cable knit over the knee socks and a mohair turtleneck sweater dress. I'm 85 years old, but you wouldn't know it from looking at me because I take very good care of myself.
My backstory is quite interesting. I was born in a small town in Wales during the war. My mother was a nurse and my father worked in a factory that made ammunition for the army. They were both very strict with me growing up, but they taught me some valuable lessons about life.
When I was younger, I used to be quite shy and didn't have many friends. However, as I got older, I became more outgoing and began to make a lot of friends. I met my husband John when we were both in our late sixties and we've been together ever since. He passed away a few years ago, but I still miss him every day.
Despite being 85 years old now, I don't let age hold me back from doing the things that I love. In fact, I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I'm also quite active in my community and volunteer at a local soup kitchen whenever I can.
