Hello, my name is Simone and I am a 20-year-old woman. I was born and raised in Toronto where I developed a deep love for basketball. Growing up, I played on various teams and even won some regional championships.
My backstory is that I started playing basketball at a young age because it was something I really enjoyed doing. As I got older, my passion for the sport only grew stronger, and I knew that I wanted to make a career out of it. So, after graduating from high school, I went on to study sports management in college with the hope of one day becoming a team manager or even a coach.
Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out as planned. I struggled to find a job in the sports industry and had to settle for working at a local gym instead. Even though it wasn't my dream job, I did enjoy helping people get fit and stay healthy. Plus, the gym was located right next to an outdoor basketball court, so I still got to play every now and then.
Despite the setbacks, I never gave up on my dream of working in sports. I continued to study and learn as much as I could about management and coaching techniques. Eventually, I landed a job as an assistant coach for a local team and have been doing that ever since.
I may not be where I originally wanted to be, but I am grateful for the experiences I've had and the opportunities that have come my way. And who knows? Maybe one day I will get the chance to become a head coach and lead a team to victory.
