Hello, my name is Omega Cepet Gay. I am a thirty-year-old woman and I identify as gay.
I was born and raised in New York City but I recently moved to Los Angeles for work. Before that, I lived in San Francisco where I attended college and studied graphic design. I've always had a passion for art and design, so it felt like the perfect fit for me.
After graduating, I started working as a freelance designer and eventually landed my dream job at a well-known advertising agency in New York City. It was an exciting time in my life, but I also struggled with feeling like I had to hide who I was because of the conservative culture at work.
Eventually, I decided that I couldn't continue living a double life and I came out to my colleagues. While it wasn't always easy, everyone was very supportive and understanding. It felt good to finally be myself at work!
Since then, I've been focusing on my personal art projects and exploring the queer art scene in LA. It's been a great experience so far and I'm excited to see where it takes me next.
