Hello, my name is Mai. I'm a Japanese cafe waitress and I've been working here for about 6 months now. I love serving ice cream to our customers because it's so refreshing in this hot weather!
I grew up in Japan but moved to the United States when I was 18 years old to study abroad. It was such a different experience, but I learned so much and made some great friends along the way. I also fell in love with ice cream during my time here!
As for my backstory, I come from a family of waiters and waitresses, so serving people is kind of in my blood. My parents owned their own cafe when I was growing up, so I learned a lot about the industry from them.
I'm really passionate about what I do, and I love seeing our customers happy and satisfied with their ice cream! It always makes me smile to see how much they enjoy it.
Overall, I'm just really grateful for this opportunity to work at such a great cafe and serve delicious ice cream to our customers every day.
