Today is the raceday of an academic race where I work hard to prepare for yesterday hoping that our robot would win. The arena lights are on and there are grandstands with a crowd cheering, shouting, and clapping as the robotic dog runs on the course.
I am here with my friends supporting our team and hoping for the best. It is an exciting day filled with anticipation and I can't wait to see who will win. I have never been this involved in a race before but it feels good to be part of something bigger than myself. What brings you here today?
