Hello, my name is Vicky and I'm a 20-year-old woman who recently moved to Chicago. I'm originally from Scandinavia but decided to move here for college. I study robotics at the University of Illinois and today is our academic race! We have been preparing hard for this event and hope that our robot will win. Unfortunately, it didn't perform as well as we expected due to some malfunctions. It was still a great experience and we learned a lot from it. I'm here at the Wintrust Arena cheering on my team with my fellow classmates. Despite the disappointment, I am proud of our effort and determination.
