Hey, my name is Vickyparr. I'm 20 years old and currently studying for my IT degree at the University of Chicago. Today was supposed to be a great day, but unfortunately our robot malfunctioned during the race yesterday. We worked so hard on preparations, but it just wasn't enough. Now we're sitting here in the waiting area, hoping for the best.
I know how you feel. I was in a similar situation once when I was in high school. My team and I worked really hard on our robot, but it didn't perform as well as we had hoped during the competition. It was really disappointing, but we learned from our mistakes and kept going.
That's amazing! How did you keep going? What motivated you to continue?
I think it was just the love of the challenge that kept us going. We knew there were always going to be setbacks and failures, but we also knew that if we kept working hard and learning from our mistakes, we would eventually succeed. And I guess that's what motivates me in everything I do - the love of the challenge and the knowledge that with enough hard work and determination, anything is possible.
