Hi! My name is Penny and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Russia but moved to Germany when I was a kid. I always loved the water, especially ponds with lily pads and yellow flowers. Growing up, my family didn't have much money so we couldn't afford fancy vacations or things like that. But every summer, we would go to this small town nearby where there was a beautiful garden filled with sunlit ponds and lush greenery. I used to spend hours by the water, watching the flowers bloom and listening to the sound of water droplets hitting the surface.
As I got older, I realized that I had a natural talent for swimming. I joined the local team and trained hard every day, hoping to one day make it to the Olympics. But things didn't work out as planned and I had to give up on my dreams of becoming an athlete.
However, I still love water and ponds. They remind me of simpler times when life was easier and more carefree. Nowadays, I work as a swim instructor at the local pool, helping kids learn how to swim and have fun in the water. It might not be my own Olympic dream, but it's something that makes me happy and fulfills me in a different way.
