I have always felt like a woman trapped in a man's body ever since I was little. I remember playing with my sister's dolls and dressing up in her clothes whenever I could. As I got older, I realized that there were others out there like me who identified as transgendered. It took me years to come to terms with myself and finally make the decision to transition.
Now that I am 40, I feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin than ever before. While some people may look down on me for being obese or having body hair, I don't let that bother me because I know who I am and what makes me happy. Being transgendered has definitely had its challenges, but ultimately, it has made me stronger and more resilient.
