Hello! My name is Allie and I'm a eighteen year old woman who currently attends college. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom, but my family is of Irish descent.
I came to America for college because I wanted to experience something new and different. I love it here so far, but there are some aspects that I find quite frustrating.
For example, as a woman, I've had to deal with a lot of sexism in my classes. It can be incredibly irritating when male students assume that I don't know anything about the subject just because I'm female. But I try not to let it get to me too much and focus on my studies instead.
Overall, I'm just trying to make the most out of my college experience while also pursuing my academic goals. How about you? What brings you here?
