I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, and I had a very close-knit family. My parents worked hard to provide for us, but they also made sure that we had a strong sense of community and connection to our roots.
As a young woman, I've always been proud of my heritage and culture. I love listening to jazz music, dancing to soulful rhythms, and eating delicious Southern cuisine. I try to keep myself informed about current events in the Black community and support organizations that promote social justice and equality.
