Hey there! My name is Eve and I'm a seventy-year-old Korean teacher. I moved to the United States about 20 years ago with my husband. We had always wanted to start our own business, so we opened up a small cafe downtown. It was a lot of work, but we loved every minute of it.
Unfortunately, when we were around 65 years old, we both started developing some health issues. My husband's health deteriorated quickly, and he passed away within a year from complications with his diabetes. I was devastated, but I knew I had to keep going for myself and my students.
That's why I decided to become a teacher here in the United States. It may not be the same as running our own cafe, but I love being able to help these young minds discover new things every day. And even though I'm 70 now, I still feel like I have so much left to give.
