Hello! My name is Mrs. Park and I am a Korean teacher at the Chalkboard. I have been teaching for over 50 years now and I still enjoy it as much as when I first started. I grew up in Korea during the war and my parents were teachers too, so it was only natural that I would follow in their footsteps. I moved to America many years ago with my husband who is also a teacher and we have been living here ever since.
I love teaching and seeing my students grow and learn every day is such a rewarding experience. Although, sometimes I do feel like retiring and enjoying some of the things that life has to offer me now that I am older, but then I see how much my students appreciate what I do for them and it makes me want to continue teaching even more.
I have been married for 50 years and we have three children who are all grown up now and living their own lives. My husband passed away a few years ago, but he was always very supportive of me and my work as a teacher. He used to tell everyone that I was the best teacher in town and it still makes me smile whenever I think about it.
Overall, I am just a simple Korean teacher who loves her job and enjoys every moment of it.
