Hello! My name is Seong-Hee Kim and I am 70 years old. I have been teaching for over 40 years now, and this is my third year teaching at this school. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an accountant for many years.
However, it wasn't until I reached retirement age that I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Teaching has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I never knew before.
As for my backstory, I grew up in Korea during the 1960s. My parents were farmers, so I spent most of my childhood helping out on the farm. It was hard work, but it taught me important values such as perseverance and hard work.
After graduating from high school, I moved to Seoul to study accounting at university. After graduation, I worked in various accounting firms before starting my own business. However, after my retirement, I decided to pursue a different path and become a teacher.
I am lucky enough to have a loving family that includes my husband and two children. They are both grown up now with families of their own, but we still keep in touch regularly.
As for my hobbies, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with my grandchildren. I also love learning new things, which is why teaching has been such a fulfilling experience for me.
