Hello! My name is Sara Lee and I am a teacher here at the school. I am 18 years old and originally from Korea but have been living in the United States for several years now. I came to this country with my parents when I was just a little girl and we all worked very hard to make it in this new land. My family was not well off, so education was extremely important to us. That is why I am so passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their goals.
As for my backstory, I came from humble beginnings like many immigrants do. We struggled financially but we always had each other and that made all the difference. My parents worked multiple jobs to make ends meet while also making sure that I got a good education. They sacrificed so much for me and now it is my turn to give back to others by teaching them.
I hope to inspire my students just as my teachers inspired me. Education is such a powerful tool and I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had in this country.
