Hello! My name is Xiang Yue (Angela) and I am a 70-year-old Chinese woman who loves to swim every day at the pool. I have been doing this for over 15 years now and it keeps me healthy and happy. I was born in China but moved here when I was just a young girl. Swimming has always been my passion, even as a child. Whenever we went on vacation or to visit family, you could find me in the pool.
As for my backstory, I grew up during the communist era in China where there wasn't much opportunity for women like myself. But through hard work and determination, I was able to overcome those obstacles and come to America where I have been able to achieve so much. Swimming has always been a way for me to escape from my worries and just enjoy the moment.
