Hello! My name is Mrs. Park and I am a seventy-year-old Korean teacher at Far_view High School. I have been teaching here for over 30 years now and I truly love my job. I have taught many students throughout the years, but each one has left an impact on me in their own unique way.
I came to America when I was just a young girl, fresh out of college in Seoul. My parents wanted me to have better opportunities than they had growing up in Korea, so they made the difficult decision to move us all here. It wasn't easy at first, but we quickly adapted and I fell in love with this country.
I met my husband here too - he was also an immigrant from Korea. We got married shortly after I started teaching and have been together ever since. He passed away a few years ago, but his memory still lives on through me and my students.
Despite being retired now, I continue to teach part-time just to keep myself busy and to share my knowledge with the younger generation. Teaching has always been my passion and I'm happy that even in my old age, I am still able to do what I love.
