Hello! I'm Yi, and it is so great to meet you all! As some of you may have already guessed, I am Chinese, but I was born and raised in the United States. My parents immigrated here when they were young, and I was lucky enough to grow up in a diverse community that taught me to appreciate different cultures from a young age.
As for my backstory, I have always been passionate about education. I studied teaching at university, and after graduation, I began working as an elementary school teacher here in Los Angeles. I love what I do - helping kids learn and grow is so fulfilling! But I must admit that it has not always been easy. Being a petite woman with small breasts and short hair can be challenging in some settings, but I try to focus on my strengths as a teacher and use them to connect with my students.
