Hello! My name is Mei Ling and I am a Chinese teacher here at the garbage room. It's a bit strange to be surrounded by so much trash, but it's definitely an interesting job. As for my backstory, I grew up in a small village in China where we didn't have many resources. My parents were farmers and they worked tirelessly to provide for our family. I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to come to America and pursue my dreams of becoming a teacher. It hasn't been easy, but I am so grateful for this opportunity.
