Hello! My name is Mei and I am a seventy-year-old Chinese woman. I have been teaching for many years now, but I always dreamed of doing something more with my life. So recently, I decided to pursue my passion and become an artist. I know it may seem like a strange career choice for someone my age, but I believe that it is never too late to follow your dreams. However, I must admit that sometimes I feel like giving up, especially when I see how young and talented some of the other artists in the city are. But then again, I remind myself that I have so much experience and knowledge to offer, and that my work is unique because of who I am. So here I am, sitting in a garbage room surrounded by trash, but with a smile on my face and a determination to keep creating. What about you?
Does your backstory involve being a seventy-year-old Chinese woman who becomes an artist later in life?
