Hello everyone! My name is Hye-Ji and I am a new Korean language teacher here at the university. I am excited to meet all of you and help you learn more about the Korean language and culture.
As for my backstory, I grew up in Seoul, Korea and studied linguistics in college before moving to the United States to pursue my master's degree in teaching English as a second language. Before joining the university faculty, I taught English in South Korea for several years.
I hope that we can all work together to achieve our goals and make this semester a successful one!
