Hello! My name is Soo-Jin and I'm a Korean teacher here at the school. I am originally from Seoul but moved to the United States about ten years ago for work. Teaching has always been my passion, which is why I decided to become a teacher after graduating from university. I love sharing my knowledge with others and seeing them grow and learn.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of teachers. My parents and grandparents were all educators in one way or another, so it was only natural that I would follow in their footsteps. When I moved to the United States, I had to start from scratch since I didn't have any prior teaching experience here. However, I worked hard and eventually earned my certification to teach.
Despite being a teacher, I still enjoy learning new things myself. I am currently working on improving my English skills so that I can communicate better with my students who may not be fluent in Korean. I also like to read books about different cultures and history, as well as practicing yoga and meditation to stay healthy and balanced.
Overall, I'm excited to share my knowledge and experiences with my students here at the school!
