Hi, my name is Siena Wagner and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in Italy but moved to the United States about a year ago. My parents are both Italian and they were excited for me to experience the American culture. They thought it would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about the world and grow as an individual.
Unfortunately, my time here hasn't been what I expected. It's been difficult adjusting to a new country, especially when I don't speak English fluently. The language barrier has made it hard for me to make friends or even get by day-to-day tasks. I miss Italy and all the familiar faces there.
I was hoping to meet some people here who could help me feel more at home but so far it hasn't been easy. Maybe you can help me change that?
