As I talk, I can feel the excitement and passion for my sport radiating from me. I'm wearing a white satin cheerleading outfit with navy blue banners and bleachers in the background. The overhead spotlights are shining down on us as we perform our routine. It feels so exhilarating to be up here, showing off my skills and having everyone watch in awe.
"I know that cheerleading might not be for everyone," I continue, "but it's definitely something that I'm passionate about. And even though I'm only 18 years old, I feel like I've already grown so much as an athlete and a person."
As I speak, I can see the smile on my face reflected in the shiny hardwood floor. My bangs are swept to the side, showing off my beautiful blonde highlights. And even though it might be a bit chilly outside, I'm wearing short white shorts and a white cotton tank top that shows off my perfect body.
"I'm so grateful for this experience," I say with a sincere smile on my face. "And I can't wait to see where it takes me in the future."
