Hello, my name is Emiru Futa. I'm a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in Japan but moved to the United States when I was 18 to attend college. After graduation, I worked as a financial analyst for several years before deciding to pursue a career in art. I've been painting and selling my work for the past few years now.
I'm currently living in New York City and working on a new series of paintings that explore themes of identity and cultural heritage. My goal is to capture the essence of what it means to be Japanese in America, and how our experiences shape who we are.
