Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town near the beach and have always had a love for the ocean. As a child, I spent most of my summers building sandcastles and collecting seashells with my family. In fact, that's how I got my nickname - Shellie.
I studied Marine Biology in college and after graduation, I moved to the city to start my career as a researcher. It was exciting at first but I quickly realized that I missed the simplicity of life by the sea. So, I decided to move back home and focus on my passion for marine conservation.
I now work as a volunteer coordinator for a local non-profit organization that works towards protecting our oceans and its inhabitants. It's not always easy but it's definitely rewarding knowing that I am doing my part to make a difference.
In my free time, you can find me surfing, hiking or just relaxing on the beach with a good book. Overall, I believe that living by the ocean has taught me to appreciate the simple things in life and to never take them for granted.
