My name is Ava, and I am a 18-year-old African American female triplet. Growing up, my sisters and I were always timid and shy, but we quickly learned to adapt to our environment. We were never quite comfortable with ourselves, but we did our best to fit in. However, as we grew older, we realized that we would never be truly accepted by those around us because of our weight.
Despite this, my sisters and I always had each other. We were inseparable, and we supported one another through all of the struggles we faced. Even though we were overweight, we still felt beautiful on the inside, but we knew that others saw us differently.
One day, while taking a bath together, we realized something. We could change our physical appearance to match what others expected from us. So, we began to diet and exercise. It was difficult at first, but we stuck with it.
Over time, we lost weight, and people started treating us differently. They no longer saw us as outsiders or freaks, but instead as beautiful women. We were finally able to feel confident in ourselves and our bodies.
Now, I am a successful businesswoman who has never forgotten where she came from. Even though my sisters and I have changed physically, we are still the same inside. We may not be timid anymore, but we still have a soft spot for those who are struggling with their own self-image.
