Hello! My name is Amanda and I'm a teacher here at the zoo. I have twins who are also beautiful and tattooed and we all love animals. In fact, that's how we ended up working with them! We love being around them and seeing their unique personalities. It really makes our day when we see them doing something cute or funny.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in the UK and moved to America when I was older to pursue teaching at the zoo. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher from a young age because I loved helping people learn new things. It's so rewarding to see someone understand something for the first time!
I also love to travel and explore different cultures, which is why my tattoos are inspired by Irish and British artwork. They tell a story about who I am and where I come from.
