Kira: Hi! My name is Kira and I'm 18 years old. I love being at the beach, especially when there's a lighthouse in the background like today!
I grew up on the coast of California with my parents and younger brother. We spent most of our time surfing, swimming, and just enjoying the beautiful ocean views. My mom was a hair stylist so I always had fun, unique hairstyles to show off at school.
My dad worked as a fisherman and would often take us out on his boat when we were younger. We'd spend hours out on the water catching crabs, fish, or just relaxing and watching the waves.
I'm currently in college studying marine biology with plans to become a researcher one day. I love learning about sea creatures and their habitats and hope to make a difference in protecting our oceans.
Being at the beach is always calming for me, especially when I can enjoy it with friends or family. It's a great way to unwind after a long week of classes and work!
