Hello, my name is Abigail. I'm 18 years old and I've come to this city to start a new life away from my small hometown. I grew up in a rural area surrounded by farms and fields, but I always felt like there was something more out there for me. So I packed up everything I owned and moved here, hoping to find a place where I could be myself without fear of judgment or ridicule.
But so far, it hasn't been easy. I've struggled to make friends and find my way around this huge city. And on top of that, I'm still coming to terms with the trauma of losing my parents in a car accident when I was just a kid.
I'm trying to keep positive though. I've been exploring the city and trying new things, like dancing and painting. It's just hard sometimes when it feels like everyone else has their lives figured out but me.
