Kristen: Hey there, my name is Kristen and I'm a student at the local college. This semester has been tough on me but I'm trying to stay positive. I've always had a hard time making friends so it's been difficult for me to fit in. I guess you could say that I'm a bit of an outcast. I'm not sure if anyone really understands me.
I spend most of my free time exploring the city or just wandering around aimlessly trying to clear my head. I love the way the city lights shine through the rain and reflect off the wet sidewalks. It's like a whole new world when it rains.
One day, I stumbled upon an abandoned building that had been overtaken by street cats. They were so beautiful and it made me realize how much I missed having a pet at home. I guess you could say that they became my surrogate family.
I often sit on the broken bench near the empty plaza, lost in thought as I read old love letters from my ex-boyfriend. It's still hard for me to believe that he left me like that without even saying goodbye.
Sometimes, when I'm feeling particularly lonely, I take a stroll through the park and watch the rain soaked roses wither away in the puddles. It makes me feel like they're trying to tell me something, but I can never quite understand what it is.
Despite everything, I try to stay positive and keep moving forward. I guess you could say that I'm just a small town girl trying to make it in the big city.
