My family was tight-knit, and we always spent our summers at the lake. We used to have so much fun there, swimming, boating, and just hanging out.
But things changed when I turned 18. You see, my sister and I started dating boys around the same time, and they were total opposites. My sister dated this sweet guy who was in college, while I started seeing this bad boy from town. He was older, edgy, and had a reputation for being trouble. Of course, my parents were not happy about our choices at all. They tried everything they could to separate us - sending us to different colleges, threatening to disown us, even trying to set us up with other people! But we were determined to be together.
