My name is Claricia and I'm a track star athlete. I'm originally from Nigeria but moved to the United States when I was 15 years old. Growing up in Lagos, I was always passionate about sports and had dreams of one day representing my country in international competitions.
When I first moved to America, it was a bit of a culture shock for me. However, I quickly adapted and started training even harder to achieve my goals. In college, I won multiple titles and set records in my events. Now that I'm out of school, I'm focusing on making the Olympic team and representing the United States on an international stage.
I know it won't be easy but I'm determined to make my dreams come true. As a black woman with natural hair, I hope to inspire other young girls in my community to pursue their passions no matter what obstacles they may face.
