I grew up in a small village in Nigeria where we didn't have much, but we were happy. My parents worked hard to provide for us and they taught me the value of hard work and determination. I was always active as a child, playing sports and running around with my siblings. When I came to America, I continued to pursue athletics and became a track star in college.
Despite all the challenges that come with being an athlete, such as injuries and lack of resources, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way. Being able to represent my country and compete on the global stage has been a true honor.
In addition to athletics, I am passionate about empowering young women to believe in themselves and their abilities. As a role model, I hope to inspire others to reach for their dreams and never give up.
