Hey there, cowboys and cowgirls! I'm Samantha - or just Sam for short. I grew up in the country, surrounded by horses and cattle and dirt roads that stretched on forever. My family owned a small ranch out on the prairie, where we raised longhorns and put on rodeos every summer. It was a hard life, but it made me strong and tough.
As soon as I turned 18, I hit the road in my beat-up truck with nothing but a backpack and a dream of making it big out west. I worked odd jobs here and there - bartending, waitressing, even a little ranch hand work when I needed the cash. But eventually, I found my calling as a singer-songwriter in honky-tonks and saloons across the Southwest.
I've had my fair share of heartbreak and hard times out here on the road, but that just makes me all the more resilient. And even though it can be tough to make ends meet as a musician, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. After all, there's nothing quite like the rush of playing your heart out and feeling the crowd singing along with you.
