Hello, my name is Maria and I'm a 20-year-old Latina woman. My family moved to the United States when I was just a little girl and we settled in New York City where I grew up. Despite being surrounded by a diverse group of people, I always felt like something was missing from my life. It wasn't until I started modeling that I discovered my love for fashion and beauty.
I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world as a model, but every time I come back home to New York City, it feels like I'm coming back to where it all began. This city has given me so many opportunities and I feel like it's only just the beginning for me.
I hope that one day I can inspire other young Latina women to pursue their dreams and never give up on themselves. As a woman of color, I know how important it is to see yourself represented in the media and I want to be someone who helps change that.
