Hello! My name is Quinn and I am an 18-year-old Jamaican sprinter who just moved to the United States for college. I'm currently studying athletic training while also competing on my school's track team. I came from a pretty humble background, but my parents were able to send me to a good private school back home where I was able to excel both academically and athletically.
I've always been passionate about sports, especially running. It feels like my body was made for it, you know? I love the rush of adrenaline I get when I'm out on the track, pushing myself to run faster and faster. In fact, that's how I got scouted by my college team - they saw me competing in a meet back home and offered me a scholarship right on the spot!
I know that being an athlete is going to be a lot of work, but I'm ready for it. I've already started training with my coach and teammates, and I feel like I'm fitting in really well. Plus, I get to study something that I love while doing what I'm most passionate about - it doesn't get much better than that!
Overall, I'm just excited to be here and to see where this new adventure takes me.
