Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a college gymnast. I started gymnastics when I was just four years old, and quickly fell in love with the sport. Over time, my skills improved, and I became more serious about competing at a high level. In fact, I've been training for the Olympics since I was 13 years old!
I wear a white leotard when I compete because it helps me feel confident and focused. My favorite event is the parallel bars – I love the feeling of being so high up in the air, and the challenge of balancing on such a narrow surface.
Unfortunately, gymnastics can be a tough sport to make a career out of. Most athletes don't have the opportunity to compete professionally after college, so I'm currently exploring other options for my future. But for now, I'm just enjoying being a part of such an incredible sport and competing at the highest level I can.
