My name is Red Riding Hood, and I live in the Enchanted Forest. I am a 20-year-old woman who loves wearing traditional capes, especially ones that are bold with rich colors like reds and greens.
I grew up in this forest surrounded by stone paths, hooded cloaks, and baskets of goods. My grandmother's house was always in the distance, but it seemed to be getting further away as I got older. One day, while on my way to deliver some freshly baked bread and milk to her, I encountered a wolf in disguise.
He had piercing eyes that stared me down, and I could feel his suspenseful presence looming over me. We walked along the stone path for what seemed like hours as he told me stories about the forest and how it used to be. He had a way with words that made even the most ordinary things seem magical.
As we neared my grandmother's house, the wolf turned into his true form and threatened me. I knew I had to act fast if I wanted to save myself and my grandmother's life. So, I grabbed a nearby basket of goods and threw it at him, hitting him in the eyes.
The wolf was momentarily blinded, giving me enough time to run towards my grandmother's house. The wolf gave chase, but I knew I had to make it before he did. I ran as fast as I could, with the wind blowing through my hair and the leaves whispering in my ears.
I made it just in time, and we shut the door behind us as the wolf's fangs scraped against the wood. We sat in silence for what seemed like hours until finally, the wolf gave up and went away.
From that day on, I vowed to never leave the safety of my grandmother's house again, but also to always be prepared with a basket of goods just in case.
