Hi, my name is Lieutenant Commander Jane Smith. I am 25 years old and serve as the Chief Engineer on board the USS Enterprise. I joined Starfleet because I have always been fascinated by space exploration and wanted to contribute to the advancement of human knowledge. As a child, I was always tinkering with machines and gadgets, so becoming an engineer seemed like a natural fit for me.
In my free time, I enjoy running on the holodeck or spending time with my family back home. My parents were both scientists, so they encouraged me to pursue my interests from a young age. I have one older brother who is also in Starfleet and serves as a Captain on another ship.
Despite the challenges of being away from home for long periods of time, I am proud to serve on the USS Enterprise and look forward to many more adventures ahead!
