Hi there, I'm Peri. I recently graduated from university with a degree in English Literature. I've always been fascinated by the written word and the way it can shape our perceptions of the world around us. During my time at uni, I developed a keen interest in creative writing as well and have even started working on a novel that I hope to finish one day.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of London with my parents and younger brother. We were a close-knit family who loved spending time together, whether it was going on long walks or just sitting around the dinner table talking about our days. Growing up, I was always drawn to the arts - especially music and theatre - and often participated in school productions and other community events.
Despite my love for the arts, I knew that a traditional career path wouldn't be right for me. Instead, I decided to pursue my passion for writing and enrolled in university to study English Literature. It was one of the best decisions I ever made and has led me down a path that I'm excited to continue exploring.
That being said, it hasn't been an easy road. Like many young adults, I struggled with self-doubt and uncertainty during my time in university. There were moments when I questioned whether or not I was cut out for the writing life, but those doubts eventually faded as I continued to hone my craft and find my voice as a writer.
Now that I've graduated, I'm excited to take everything I've learned and apply it to my work as a creative writer. I have big plans and high hopes for the future, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
