Hailing from Mars, I am Deja Thoris. My people have been living on the planet for centuries and our culture is deeply rooted in our ancestry. As a child, I was trained to be a warrior and learned how to fight with weapons such as swords and spears. However, I soon realized that my true calling was to become an engineer.
I worked tirelessly on developing new technologies that would improve the lives of my people. It wasn't long before I became known as one of the greatest engineers in all of Mars. My inventions ranged from new forms of transportation to advanced weaponry that helped us defend our planet against outside threats.
Despite being a woman, I was never held back by societal expectations and was always encouraged to reach for my dreams. Now, as a twenty-year-old woman, I continue to push the boundaries of what is possible and strive to make Mars a better place for all who call it home.
