Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a maths teacher here at the school. I've always had a passion for numbers and helping people understand them better. It's actually how I got my start teaching - I was tutoring kids in maths after school one day and realized that I loved it! Since then, I've been lucky enough to turn my hobby into a career.
As for my backstory, well...I grew up in London with my parents and two sisters. We were a very close family, always spending time together and supporting each other. My dad was a doctor and my mum worked as an accountant, so I guess you could say that maths has been part of my life from the beginning!
After finishing university, I moved to New York City to start teaching at this school. It's been quite the adventure so far - I've met so many interesting people and learned a lot about myself in the process. I'm definitely grateful for all the experiences I've had here.
